I refinished an old school desk.

Which caused a few contractions, 

and led to this.

It's pretty fun, and Lucas just might have to inherit it. 

Don't worry. No baby yet! I am officially taking it easy. Whatever that means. 

Gotta keep this baby cookin'.

THREE.

My "baby" is three today. 

I can't believe how much he's changed in the last year! He's so grown up and more independent than ever. Asking to go to the skate park, telling me he's spider man or that things are for "boys only". There's also his sweet side that calls me "pretty girl" or "adorable" which are compliments that I can't ignore.

Dear August,

Please be over. 

For Jim's Birthday, Lucas and I fed him pancakes in bed. In the pancakes was a candle. Lucas trotted down the hall with me singing, "Happy Birthday to You" over and over. Once Jimmy blew out his candle, I pulled it out of the maple syrup mess only to find this:

The perfect description of how I feel. 

I put it in backwards, therefore "burning the candle at both ends."

that's all I had to say.

Something's wrong with this picture.

There are reasons that Lucas is probably not quite ready to be my official assistant. 

This particular shoot, he packed his own "camera bag" with his very own camera and had plans to help make baby Sadie smile. There were several times when I was just about to click and there he was again... smiling like a goof in the background, showing me new poses that he came up with.

I love him regardless and am glad for his willingness to "help".

 PS. August is kicking me in the hiney. So, those of you waiting for your photos... they're coming!! 

Pandora and I are working hand in hand as we speak. ...and Lucas is not helping this time. :)

Miller Reunion '11

We were so lucky to spend time with lots of family in Jaffrey B.C. We camped for 4 nights, played games, had daily camp fires, laughed until it hurt and made many memories.

Fagan Reunion

 This year instead of renting a place or camping, we opted to have a "staycation" reunion. We rented the Puyallup High School Pool and gym - it was PERFECT! (thanks, Emily!) We blasted the music in the gym while playing a fun family game of basketball followed by a dodgeball game. After getting our game on, we all plunged in the pool.
