In no particular order...

Happy New Year!

Mountain Trip 2012

We headed to the mountains the day after Christmas for some sledding followed by a chilly picnic lunch and Hot Cocoa. We had a blast! The Barriers and Fagans came along.

Lucas at snow the entire time. He even gave himself a Santa Claus Beard.

Presley was the Queen of sledding. I'm not sure why, but she would FLY down the hills. We eventually had to start catching her before she flew down the hill behind us. She had one scare when she just kept going... and going down through the woods behind us and we had to go hunt her out! She was brave though and kept right at it! She's a Fagan!

Little did we know, this would be our last trip driving Holly Hybrid. We sold my car which had been listed for quite some time to a couple expecting their first baby. It was time for us to re-evaluate finances and focus on getting Jimmy into Dental School. (*still crossing fingers!!*) We have shared the Jetta and it has worked out just fine. I thought I would miss it but in fact, I feel much better without it right now. :) We sold it New Years Day. Happy New Year to us!

Paging Dr. Lucas...

Lucas tags along with us for Boden's check-ups. He likes to help the Pediatrician. He is always very good at soothing Boden and assuring him that everything is ok, or "otay". Apparently Boden was due for a more thorough exam at home.

Getting a closer look...
Lucas' appointments end with a kiss. :)

fagan family guess who

...a super fun project. I ended up making 3 for Christmas gifts. I still need to do one for myself. :)

Boden Jeramy - 2mo

What a handsome guy!
He is growing like a weed. A chubby one.
He weighed in at his 2 month check up at the same weight Lucas was at 4 months!
He is SO much fun to love. He has a great smile, loves to sleep (his record is 11 hours at night) and is the most loveable baby. I'm boxing up clothes faster than he can wear them. He's already comfortably in 6 month sizes. He wears some 9 month tops, too. Such a different baby than Lucas.

Here are his stats:
15 lbs
22 1/2" long
40" head circ.
His eyes are still blue (but so were Lucas') and he's still got an unsure shade of hair. (what's left of it) :)

He sure is fun to have around.
Lucas loves to teach him and involves him in all we do.

Christmas 2011

This year we enjoyed the Christmas season...
With 2 visits to see Santa, both times Lucas spent time convincing him to bring him a "remote control rocket ship". (There's no such thing.)
 Decorating the tree
Boden snoozed while Lucas went crazy with lights.
We celebrated Christmas Eve in our ugly sweater attire.
 I know, we looked stunning.
Had our white elephant gift exchange...
Santa stopped by for a snooze...
Jimmy won honorable mention prize for his sweater and I lost... YET again.
Although I'm completely fine losing to this glorious sweater:
We read the Christmas story in our Matching PJ's, left Santa milk and cookies and headed off to bed.
Lucas was most pleased with his Super hero costumes I got him. Daddy also got him a fun transformer which he likes to call "AWESOMEST Prime" as opposed to Optimus Prime.

...and Santa came through with something even better than a remote control rocket ship... a HUMMER.

Boden would have been just fine sleeping through the ruckus.
Both children were un-exited to attend church that morning.

We attended church with Grandma Miller and the Saumani's and Lucas was excited to do presents again at Grandma's house.
I wanted Lucas to know how important it is to give during Christmas time, so I took him to do his own shopping. He picked out a nice tape measure and ice cube trays for Grandma Miller. :) He also got zip-ties for Ashli, a recorder for his good friend Lilia, gloves for my Mom, a lighter for the fireplace for Grandpa, Daddy got a monster truck, Boden got spoons and a whoopee cushion for Jeramy. (how appropriate)
He had lots of fun wrapping and giving the gifts. It took everything he had not to tell everyone what was inside before they opened them.
...he even showed Grandma how a tape measure works.
 Merry Christmas!
