We had quite the day earlier this week.
The night prior, I cut Jimmy's hair. As luck would have it, the clippers died. This actually ALWAYS happens when I cut his hair. He usually complains and I end up charging the clippers. I know better than to leave them out charging, as Lucas is intrigued with anything that plugs in and even more intrigued by the things he can't have.
8am
I hear the sound of buzzing coming from the dining room.
I came in to this:
and this:
10am
I wasn't quick enough to give him his morning snack.
So he found his own.

3pm
After nap, Lucas decided that he needed to do his puzzles.
He climbed out of his crib, onto his dresser and quietly did several puzzles.

These things used to happen to other people and I would think,
"Sheesh people. WATCH YOUR KIDS."
So. Either I was super judgmental back then, or I'm a worse Mother than I thought.
...still haven't fixed his haircut. The patch is growing on me.

That is too funny! I think the same thing sometimes with what my girls will pick out to wear. I used to look of parents that let their kids wear unmatched things or their hair was crazy- and think that it was ridiculous! Now, I'm that parent- sometimes its not worth a fight if Olivia wants to wear some funky combination to school- I just smile as she gets on the bus and hope everyone realizes that I'm just picking my battles! But just so you know- you are a WONDERFUL Mom.... he just does it so you have something to blog about ;)!
#2 will be a breeze.
Sad day...you are a great mom though. Kids are quick and sneaky...it is hard to keep up with them...it just means that Lucas is smart...he is exploring his world.
Haha what an awesome kid!!! I think the patch is cute!!
Oh Lucas, you adorable little mischief-maker. I cannot wait to see what trouble he and Johnny get into whenever they team up again.
